Egg kofta curry...

INGREDIENTS:

Ground beef  1 1/2 lb.
Egg for binding  -  1.
Cardamom powder  -  1/8 tsp.
Cloves powder  -  1/8 tsp.
Cinnamon powder  -  1/8 tsp.
Salt  -  1/2 tsp.

5 hard boiled eggs.
2 tbsp all purpose flour.

2 onions, sliced.
2 tomatoes, diced.
1/4 cup tomato puree or sauce.
3 inch size ginger piece , grated.
10 cloves of garlic, grated.
10 green chilies, sliced.
2 bay leaves.
3 to 4 tbsp oil.
1 tbsp garam masala.

METHOD:

Combine the first 6 ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Coat or dredge the hard boiled eggs in the all purpose flour. 
Cover the eggs with the meat mixture.  Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.  
Heat oil and add sliced onion and saute.  Add grated ginger, garlic and green chilies.  Stir in the diced tomatoes, bay leaves, garam masala, and simmer.  Add the tomato puree, salt, one cup of water and cook for a minute.  Add the koftas one by one in the gravy.   Add more water if necessary.  Let it simmer for about 4 to 5 minutes.  Serve hot with plain boiled rice.
