INGREDIENTS:
Salmon, King fish or Tuna - 1 lb.
Fresh bread crumbs or dry bread crumbs - 1/2 to 3/4 cup.
Green chilies - 4 to 5, seeded and chopped.
Onion - 1 finely chopped.
coriander leaves - 4 to 5 sprigs, finely chopped.(optional)
Salt to taste.
Ginger - 2 inch piece, grated.
Lime juice of 1/2 lime.
Egg - 1, beaten.
Dry bread crumbs - 1 cup.
Oil to fry the cutlets.
METHOD:
Clean, boil or steam the fish. Flake the pieces.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil and saute the chopped onions, grated ginger and chopped chillies. Remove from fire. Add the fish flakes, lime juice, bread crumbs, salt, chopped coriander leaves and mix thoroughly. Divide in to even sized balls and flatten like patties. Dip in the beaten egg and coat in the bread crumbs. Fry in the hot oil until its golden brown. Serve hot with ketchup.
