Clam chowder...

INGREDIENTS:

Hard shelled clams  - 2 dozen.
Celery  -  2 stalks.
Bacon   -  2 to 3, chopped.
Onion  -  1, diced.
Potatoe  -  1,diced.
All purpose flour  - 2 tbsp.
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp.
Milk  -  2 cups.
Salt to taste.

METHOD:
Cook the clams and celery, in 2 cups water.  Discard the celery, reserve the clams and stock.
In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the bacon and onion, till its lightly browned.  Stir in the diced potatoes, clam stock, pepper, cover and cook until potatoes are tender.  Chop the clams and add to that. 
Combine the flour, milk and add to the clam mixture, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.  Add more salt if needed and serve.
