INGREDIENTS:
1 cup dates.
1 cup brown sugar or jaggery.
1/4 cup tamarind.
1 tsp red chilie powder.
1/4 tsp asafoetida powder.
1/2 tsp salt.
Water to cook.
METHOD:
Combine all the ingredients and cook until its soft. Mash with the back of the spoon, strain and let it cool.
